The world's tallest tower as of this date

Burj Dubai. The world's tallest tower as seen from Satwa side. The building at the foreground is the Al Mazaya Center, kind of like one of the mini-malls here in Dubai. The Burj Dubai is due to officially open on 09/09/09 and this is how it looks like right now. The upper most segment is not done yet, but the lower parts have their 'windows' installed.

A rare opportunity for me. I seldom go to this side of Dubai since most of my client calls are on the Deira and Bur Dubai side. I think this will be my last chance to get this close to the Burj, but I sometimes hope not and I sometimes think I don't care. But, at least, I already have this shot to take with me.

Bus Station

The Naif Bus Station.  I find this station pretty small because Naif is such a busy place.  This is the place where you will find everything cheaper than anywhere else.
